The project

Transnational traineeships for CAD and technical design skills

CAD+ was created to offer young talents from Campania a European mobility experience aimed at strengthening technical and professional skills in the field of CAD design. The project is aimed at adult fifth-year students from technical and vocational schools and at young recent graduates or NEETs, with training pathways consistent with the fields of electronics and electrical engineering. The main objective is to improve knowledge of design and technical drawing through the use of CAD software, tools that are now widely used across many areas of technical design and increasingly in demand in the labour market. The project involves 90 fifth-year students in short traineeships and 12 young recent graduates or NEETs in long-term mobility pathways, offering training experiences in Romania, Spain and Ireland. MAReA coordinates the national consortium, made up of the Galvani Institute of Giugliano in Campania, the Tassinari Institute of Pozzuoli and the Righi Institute of Naples, managing the connection between schools, foreign partners and host organisations. The activities include pre-departure preparation, logistical support, traineeships in companies in the sector, tutoring, monitoring and recognition of the skills acquired during the period abroad. Through transnational traineeships, CAD+ enables participants to live and work in a European context, developing professional, language, digital and cultural skills. The project also strengthens transversal skills such as autonomy, responsibility, problem solving, teamwork and communication, contributing to the consolidation of the ECVET system and to the recognition of skills acquired in work-based learning contexts abroad.
