The project offered training experiences abroad in the field of event organisation, with particular attention to events related to fashion, marketing, communication and technical-organisational management.
Erasmus+ Event Manager is an international traineeship and European mobility project submitted under the Erasmus+ 2018 call. The proposal was aimed at 120 adult students attending the fifth year of technical and vocational schools, coordinated by MAREA SCARL. The schools involved were ISIS Isabella D’Este-Caracciolo, IPIA Michele Niglio, ISIS Pagano-Bernini and IS G. Marconi. The project included mobility experiences in Spain and Romania, with host organisations selected to offer participants a meaningful training pathway in the field of event organisation, particularly events connected to the world of fashion. The international traineeship lasted four weeks and was preceded by a pre-departure training phase dedicated to the practical-logistical, pedagogical-professional and cultural aspects of the host country. Particular attention was also given to language preparation, carried out through the OLS online tool. The project took as its professional reference the profile of Event Organisation Technician, a qualification included in the Register of Professional Qualifications of the Campania Region. The mobility pathway involved the acquisition and strengthening of skills consistent with EQF level 4, within a framework compatible with the ECVET system. The skills developed concerned the definition of an event concept, the identification of its technical characteristics, operational organisation and the preparation of communication activities. The pathway also included the development of knowledge related to cost-benefit analysis, technical services for events, marketing, communication, budgeting, media planning, sector regulations, locations, target audiences and organisational processes. The expected results included the ability to analyse the target market, identify primary sources, contribute to budget definition, assess the technical and functional suitability of an event, manage organisational activities and prepare a marketing plan suited to the characteristics of the initiative. At the end of the traineeship, the students received certifications and certificates relating to the experience completed, including Europass Mobility, certificates for pre-departure training and language preparation, a certificate issued by the host organisation and certification of additional ECVET points.
The project has completed its activities and the official website is no longer online. Visit the MAREA project archive to discover other experiences, results and European collaborations.
