SkillSphere supports vulnerable NEET young people aged 18 to 29 in Romania, Italy and Bulgaria through training, guidance, mentoring, online platforms and internship opportunities, with the aim of strengthening their skills, employability and socio-professional integration.
SkillSphere – Equipping Vulnerable Youth for Success was created to address the challenges of youth unemployment and skills development among vulnerable NEET young people, meaning people aged 18 to 29 who are not in education, employment or training. The project involves Romania, Italy and Bulgaria and aims to strengthen the employability of 180 young people through an integrated pathway of training, guidance, mentoring and support towards the labour market.
The planned activities include information campaigns and beneficiary engagement, training courses in digital skills, financial education, English language, mentoring and legal skills. The project also includes the creation of online platforms to encourage peer learning, motivation and continuous support, as well as opportunities for dialogue between young people, social enterprises and employers. An important part of the pathway is also dedicated to the activation of internships: SkillSphere aims to facilitate internship placements for 90 young NEETs, 30 in each participating country.
MAReA participates in the project as a partner, contributing to the implementation of the activities and to the achievement of the partnership’s shared objectives. The project is coordinated by Asociatia Ateliere Fara Frontiere and involves organizations from Romania, Italy and Bulgaria working in the fields of social inclusion, training, innovation and employment support
