The processing operations connected to the web services of this website take place at the above-mentioned registered office and are carried out only by technical staff of the office in charge of processing. Where necessary, data connected to the newsletter service may be processed by the staff of the company responsible for maintaining the technological part of the website.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

Navigation data – The IT systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the website, the URI addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server response, such as success or error, and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment. This data is used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the website and to check that it is functioning correctly, and is deleted immediately after processing.

The data may be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the website. Except for this possibility, web contact data currently does not persist for more than seven days.

Data provided voluntarily by the user – The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of emails to the addresses indicated on this website entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, which is necessary in order to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. Specific summary information notices will progressively be included or displayed on the pages of the website prepared for particular services on request.

Cookies – No personal user data is acquired by the website in this regard. Cookies are not used to transmit personal information, nor are persistent cookies of any kind used, nor systems for tracking users. The use of session cookies, which are not stored permanently on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed, is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers, consisting of random numbers generated by the server, necessary to allow safe and efficient browsing of the website. The session cookies used on this website avoid the use of other IT techniques that could potentially compromise the confidentiality of users’ browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal identification data relating to the user.

OPTIONAL PROVISION OF DATA

Apart from what has been specified for navigation data, users are free to provide the personal data included in request forms addressed to the Authority or otherwise indicated in contacts with the Office in order to request the sending of the newsletter, information material or other communications. Failure to provide such data may make it impossible to obtain what has been requested. For completeness, it should be noted that in some cases, not covered by the ordinary management of this website, the Authority may request information pursuant to Article 157 of the Personal Data Protection Code for the purpose of monitoring the processing of personal data. In such cases, a response is mandatory and failure to respond may result in an administrative penalty.

PROCESSING METHODS

Personal data is processed using automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorised access.

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

The persons to whom the personal data refers have the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation as to whether or not such data exists and to know its content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration, updating or rectification, pursuant to Article 7 of the Personal Data Protection Code. Pursuant to the same article, users have the right to request the deletion, anonymisation or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, and to object, in any case, on legitimate grounds, to its processing.
